The Guyana Sugar Corporation, best known by its acronym GuySuCo, is Guyana's largest cultivator and producer of sugar. The Corporation procures materials and services for the sugar industry, primarily factory and agricultural equipment and spares, fertilizers, agro chemicals and a wide range of products to support the cultivation and manufacturing of its main product, brown sugar.

This site has been developed as part of GuySuCo’s strategy for the implementation of electronic procurement and is designed to be a central facility to advertise procurement opportunities to the Corporation’s registered users.This site displays all open opportunities in the form of Tender Notices and request for quotations.

The site has the functionality of facilitating online clarifications via a Q&A facility; email alerts and response management facilities to vendors. It also provides associated tender documents (where available) that can be downloaded from the site, and the provision of all online submission of bids or quotes. It also features a comprehensive help function and information on procurement rules and guidelines as stipulated in the Corporation’s Procurement Manual.

The Corporation strives to obtain the right quality of materials and services, in the right quantity, at the right time, from the right supplier or contractor and at the right price. The site offers the opportunity to widen the net of potential vendors to GuySuCo.
